Catalonia Vondel Amsterdam Hotel

Sadly, the air circulation in my room could be better. A nice experience 😊

The location was perfect for exploring museums and nearby parks. Unlike my previous experiences in amsterdam, this hotel was great with a superb buffet breakfast full of fresh options.

The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the modern bathroom, particularly the floor heating and well-designed shower. The restaurant's breakfast offered a diverse selection, and the staff were cute and efficient in addressing my needs during my business trip.

Wifi connection was unstable and often required re-login.

super central location near the leidesplein and museums; nevertheless very quiet in a side street. internet. good breakfast (if booked on site one day in advance cheaper). room 406, was more generous than the rooms in previous years.

bed was quite soft - but it's a matter of taste/back. nothing else.

Consider upgrading your room if possible. The views and space are much more pleasant compared to economy options.

Moving about the hallways and stairs. Typical old eu, narrow and lots of different levels to watch out for

Fairly clean hotel with approaching and great staff during day-shift. Well cleaned & bright room with a lovely bathroom. Plenty of options, fresh food.

Super location, nice employees

We had the small double room, but that was really small. Almost no room near the wall or for the suitcases

I loved the nice view to the inner gardens from our room and the luxurious bathroom with heated floors. The charming decor added a special touch. Perfect location near the museum quarter for exploring local attractions.

Very soft mattresses and slate floor. Thin walls and very loud. Big nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Too expensive for the offer in my opinion.

room was basic - located directly under the reception area which meant we were kept awake with the sound of footsteps and moving of luggage.Breakfast was poor value.

The hotel is located on a charming quiet street, providing easy access to nearby attractions. Enjoying the cozy interior while having a delicious breakfast with gluten-free options was a highlight. Despite the friendly and helpful staff, our experience was marred by noise from the kitchen above our initial room, disrupting our sleep. The overall hotel condition felt a bit tired in some areas, disappointing given the lovely common spaces.

Friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant - breakfast - plentiful, dinner in the evening very good. Price-performance is right.

Improve accessibility in certain areas for seniors.

the design of the bathroom. that there were two showers in a cabin. the bathroom was always warm and there was floor heating. clean towels every day. that you could make your own tea and coffee and also snacks were available in the fridge. the bed was cozy. room service did its work every day, room was clean and has everything necessary as equipment what you need.

roomsize, tv, bed for 2 persons only 140cm wide.. very expensive!
